• Alcohol


    • AlcoholEdu for College is an online course that educates students about Alcohol. Wether you drink or not, AlcoholEdu empowers students to make well-imformed decisions and provides simple strategies to help stay safe. AlcoholEdu is mandatory for all new incoming freshmen under 21. Failure to complete the program will result in a hold preventing you from viewing your grades or requesting a transcript.
  • Workshops
    • Student Health Services provides presentations for UTSA students and classroom instructors around campus free of charge. No audience is too small or too large. If you have a group of friends, a fraternity, student organization, a classroom or a conference, we can arrange a speaker for you. If you don't see a topic listed below, but have a health topic in mind, go to the last item on the list and request a presentation. You will be able to fill out a description of the presentation you would like to see. 
  • Tobacco


    • UTSA is atobacco free university, in order to aid the UTSA tobacco free policy, Student Health Services offers FREE tobacco cessation consultations to all currently registered students.

The goal of the tobacco cessation consultations is to help you become a tobacco free Roadrunner! One on one meetings with a Health Educator focus on:

      • goal setting,
      • coping strategies,
      • developing a quit plan!
  • Sexual


    • Condom Station
      • Student Health Services provides FREE CONDOMS to students at our Health Education Resource Center located at RWC 1.812, around the corner from the clinic and across from Counseling Services.

Visit our Condom Station during normal business hours and help yourself to a variety of condoms including: latex, non-latex, extra sensitive, extra-large, flavored, dental dams, female condoms, and finger condoms.

    • Sex in the Dark
      • You've got tons of information about sexual health coming at you from the media, the Internet, friends, and everywhere else. Why not get the facts from someone who can give you real answers?

At Sex in the Dark, students can anonymously submit any sexual health-related question and receive honest, factual answers. The room is dark to help create a safe space and open conversations.

    • HIV Testing
      • San Antonio AIDS Foundation comes to the UTSA Main Campus once a month to provide FREE HIV Testing in their mobile testing van. Check them out each month from 9:00am - 2:00pm in the HEB UC Parking Lot. Testing is confidential and get your results in a minute. Syphilis testing is available upon request.
